The war kills

akatsijaThe war kills. And it does not matter if it is on the other side of the planet, or on your backyard. It kills you, as long as you care about it. It can kill fast, it can kill slowly, but it does so surely. It kills hope, it kills trust, it kills love, it kills future.
The war kills. It can kill those who started it. It can kill those that supported it. It can kill those who stayed silent. It can kill.
The war is a killer. But so are those, who supported it, those who started it, those who liked it, those who believed in it, those who opened their mouths and those who didn't, those who killed and those who didn't. It all depends on which side they were on. And those who said "I don't care" - they are killers, too.
And even if you are against that war, even if you did all you could to help the suffering side, as long as you care - the war is killing you. One second at a time.
